A few good mixes via Fun in the Murky

Been listening to these a lot:

Luke's Anger @ Shambala Festival 2010 (embedded below)
http://soundcloud.com/r-f-i-d/luke-sanger-rfid-shambala-2010-28-08-10
recommended: nice funky techno set.

Psychomantix on Bleep Radio (#234)
http://www.fun-in-the-murky.com/Bleep_Radio/2010/10/bleep-radio-show-234.html
The name psychomantix makes me think of emoto-trance hell, but don't be fooled. Good frenetic techno.

Andrez Bergen on Bleep Radio (#236)
http://www.fun-in-the-murky.com/Bleep_Radio/2010/10/bleep-radio-show-236.html
Good mix, not firm in genre but cohesive, from deep house to some break-y and techno-y stuff.

DJ Nez ACP Mix

Good, moody electro/techno set outta Belfast.
Stream it, or download here: http://www.acroplane.org/?q=node/1045

(Though the zip file in download didn't decompress for me. :( There's really no point zipping an mp3 file--it's already compressed and you won't get much smaller.)

The Black Dog live set from 2008

(Via technopodcast.)

Still kicking around with their distinctive, peppy ambient style.

Speedy J @ DEMF

Didn't make it DEMF? Me either..

The one time I did (2003?), Speedy J opened it at St. Andrew's Hall. Good set, but only about 60-90m long and then they turned up the lights and booted us all out... Here's his 4-hour set from this year's DEMF..

Tiga on NME Radio and lots of Detroit goodness

Really good set. Announcer's interruptions a little annoying, esp since they're like 4x louder than the music.. But hasn't kept me from listening to this 5x +..
http://setperfeito.blogspot.com/2010/05/dj-tiga-turbo-recordings-nme-radio.html

There's also a Richie Hawtin set linked on setperfeito. Not bad, but a little snoozy in parts..

Glad setperfeito is posting again.. :)

CLR has Chuck Flask from the Paxahau crew with some Detroit-y techno, in a special DEMF podcast: http://www.cl-rec.com/pod/CLRSR065.mp3

Finally, Dave Clarke w/ Detroit Techno Militia, White Noise:

Pretty good sets so far but kinda crap recordings..

Dave Shades on Bleep Radio

Dave Shades from Glasgow (some bkgd) has the latest two sets on Bleep radio. Me likey mucho.
Dave mainly plays wonky and jacking techno, with splatterings of booty, electro and acid, however he has been known to dabble in pretty much anything including disco, hip-hop and even breakcore.
Download sets here: Bleep Radio 212 &  Bleep Radio 213

Deep techno: Enggenier and Speedy J

Found this Deeper Perception mix by Enggenier while catching up on Detroit Institute of Techno. Good stuff. Download it here. Here's the track listing.

Also, Speedy J is this week's guest on CLR.net. Another good deep techno mix. Download the mix here or get it on iTunes.

ALso, CLR is offering a full 9-hr set by Speedy J from a January 7th party in NYC. (Have to register to get it.) 9 hrs, woah that dude's a machine. Downloading it now, and trying to embed a player for it below:

Kitsune Maison

I picked up a Kitsune Maison disc some years back on my last visit to the old world, but recently found most releases available for download at ilove-techno. Hard to put a style label on it, some electro-clash-y stuff (anyone use that term still?), some house-y stuff, and many other styles + influences.

"Eclectronic" was the term I tried spawning some years back, but no dice. Anyhow, great listening.

In a similar vein, been listening to Death before Distemper 4 -- some tracks on it I don't like, but a nice eclectronic assortment. Darker and more chill than the Kitsune stuff.

Bleep Radio #203 Mixed by: Little Liquidize (Poland)

Just getting caught up on my Bleep Radio--this is one fat electro set.

The track that comes in around 43:00 could rouse the comatose, I tell you. This one:
12. Quaver & Versis - "Orient Jig" Midi Meets Big Chief John EP (Miditonal 05) 2005
